TOILET TRAINING STAGE 1 & COPING WITH BULLYING

TOILET TRAINING BEGINS!

Ok so after some early signs that Jessica might be ready for the toilet training stages we decided to purchase her very own special toilet "Mr QUACK QUACK". Jessica was so excited and very inquizative as well as bemused by Mr Quack Quack and his victory songs or 2. So far we have had a couple of successes a few miss and hits and a few definate failers but hey its only been 5 days so a very positive start to a new era not bad for a 21 mth old. I must stress however this process will be at Jessicas pace not ours and a process that Jessica will lead. We her parents are very proud of our little girl for a fantastic effort so far on her part. Well done Jessica we love you and very proud of you for all you've achieved so far keep it up sweetheart x  

WHEN DOES IT STOP?

Ok so it would appear that our son is again experiencing bullying while in school. So as his parents we are again faced with a situation. How best to help Tom deal with the bullying! We have informed his school already we have shown some compassion towards the reasons this particular child maybe targeting our child we have reasurred Tom that we are here to help what we will and wont support as well as comfort Tom and reassure Tom that he has done nothing to deserve this treatment. This was last week. So Tom started this week very happy and in fact had a great day yesterday. This child was absent so its not suprising really. So today the child returns only to decide that words are not enough so beating him up was naturally the next stage. Shame this vicious child was to cowardly to do this face to face from the start. Oh no he comes up from brhind kicking Tom square in the back planting him into a double glass door, that was just the beginning. So How do we support our son now clearly this child has decided Tom is to be his easiest target clearly the school feel that its not at a stage where immediate intovention is needed. I'll tell you what we've told Tom go to school tomorrow find this little tike and beat 10 bells of shit out of him me and your dad look forward to the phone call. Why you ask! well maybe this tike will not only reliese that Tom will stand up for himself but infact is not an easy target and maybe the school will intervean sooner rather then later preventing such scraps between 2 lads that neither know anything about each other other there names and age.

Despite all this we are very proud of Tom our son for not only settling in very well in his new school but by how well he has adapted to all the new changes like regular homework deadlines etc and some fantastic feedback regarding homework and class work so far..He seems to have made some solid friendships already and there are real signs of fase 2!
