For me I realised my baby boy was no more the day he started nursery, then pre-school, infants Juniors and now secondary school. Where has all this time gone? I remember carrying him for 35 + 6 weeks the day he was born god he was so poorly what was suppose to be a happy moment was quickly turned into fear sadness for me anger too I mean your suppose to carry them for up to 41 wks give birth meet and greet hold your baby then within a few days or hrs for those lucky Mommy's go home and begin the process. OK so it never happened that way instead it took 8weeks or so before we began the process and a happy moment it was. Whilst the first few years were tough we clung on together and with the love and support we got to this day.
Now then there's little madam Jessica OK so she hasn't started nursery yet and perhaps she won't but Jessica is about to start going to her own child minder with her best friend.
We might be a very long way off from pre-school etc.. but she has grown up so much already born at 33+6 with a what felt like a mountain of health issue not that any of these were going to hold her back you understand determined to cling to life she has gone on to sit-up, stand, walk, run and climb. Our little fire cracker has her likes and dislikes she is already so independent like trying to dress herself and put her shoes on not to mention feeding herself more often then not. Now at 21 mths old you Jessica has developed a real taste for dressing up. Jessica will literally use anything to make her new costume. Now because of this nanny went out and bought a little Tinkerbell costume complete with wand and head dress. My oh my has Jess loved her new fairy outfit every day since she has insisted on wearing it for up to an hour a day she goes round flinging her wand at everything as if she is spreading the fairy dust. My baby girl appears to be growing up and turning into a little girlie. So toddler stage has arrived.
Is this how you know your babies are no longer babies?
NEW ADVENTURES ON THE READY!
With Tom in secondary and Jessica at those toddler stages we've plenty to be looking forward to many roads many paths some good some difficult many moments of happiness. I as do we all are looking forward to thee appending years that will grace us with its presences.
MY BABIES ARE GROWING UP FAST
