Right I know its been severel weeks since my last blog for reasons of which will follow.
After a good few weeks since our last hospital stay with Jessica we ended up having to cancel a weeks worth of appointments to rush her to hospital. Jess had picked up a bit of a cold causing respirotry distress once again.
Jess was admitted and again on oxygen thankfully this time the oxygen was only needed while sleeping.
Jessicas stay was 5 nights which was half the of the time of our last stay at hospital and thankfully she didn't loose weight but never gained either.
Whilst there were some positives this time around there were negatives such as a cold has never landed her in hospital befor never mind the needing oxygen...whilst there has been suggestions of future changes with jessica's health and her requirements of oxygen/c-pap mainly if not only for sleeping its been confirmed during this hospital stay...
If Jess is admitted again requiring oxygen whilst asleep then we will be home with extra equipment what that will be will be determined after a series of tests have been carried out.
UPDATE.....
After kicking off chasing up and contacting PALS we now have our appointment to discuss surgery.
We are however waiting for an appointment to discuss aneasetic options and mangement of the knock stage....Fingers crossed with PAS on the case will know by Monday-Tuesday.
We have a follow-up appointment this week to discuss how Jessica's assessments have gone and speech and language group session too.
A BETTER TERM
Tom has had a much better term so far and seems to have settled...Tom has worked hard to regain our trust as we have to alow him opportunities to show he can be trusted. All in all happy days.
